Working Student - Fleet Management

As our Working Student in Fleet Management, you won't be making coffee or watching from the sidelines. You'll be right in the middle of it, managing our electric vehicle fleet, getting the chance to drive new EVs on the market, visiting industry events with our Fleet Manager, solving real operational challenges, and getting a front-row seat to how a fast-growing European company actually works.

This is a hands-on role. From day one, you'll take ownership of meaningful tasks that have a direct impact on how Fastned operates day to day.

• Run the day-to-day operations of Fastned's pool car fleet in Amsterdam. You'll be the go-to person for vehicle bookings and availability across the company.

• Be the internal point of contact for fleet-related questions from colleagues across the organisation.

• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, damage follow-up, and tyre management, including scheduling with garages and service partners and making sure everything is resolved on time.

• Organise pick-up and drop-off of pool vehicles for servicing, repairs, inspections, or colleague handovers.

• Keep vehicle records sharp and up to date including maintenance logs, damage reports, insurance documents, and service history.

• Proactively monitor the condition and roadworthiness of the fleet and flag anything that needs attention.

• Manage and process traffic fines, making sure they're allocated to the right driver or department quickly and accurately.

• Maintain the company's charge card database, keeping all records correct and current.

• Compile and maintain regular fleet mileage reports with clear overviews for the Fleet Manager and relevant stakeholders.

• Keep an eye on industry trends in fleet electrification and charging infrastructure policy, and flag relevant insights to the team. Given what Fastned does, this one actually matters.

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme.

• You hold a valid driving licence (Category B). This is required for the pool car management responsibilities.

• You are fluent in English and Dutch; additional European languages are a bonus.

• You communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbally.

• You are organised, reliable, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks without losing sight of the details.
