The International Division Director of Administration is responsible for the administrative function of the Divisional Office and increases collaboration between the Division Office, FCA Support Center, ISPs, and field regions. This position leads the coordination and synergy between the Division Office and Support Center departments, furthering the FCA mission and vision. The International Director of Administration implements processes, systems, and resources to support FCA's staff, ISPs, and volunteers.
 
MINISTERIAL DUTIES
These responsibilities are critical to the FCA mission, and this position plays a vital role in our ministry. FCA expects all functions and responsibilities outlined below to be carried out with a heart surrendered to serving God as a form of worship.

  • Lead, conduct, and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and living by example so they are equipped to serve others.
  • Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly
  • Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs (see FCA's Christian Community Statement) at all times.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Administrative Support of the FCA Entity
  • Lead the ongoing administrative responsibilities of FCA's in a country NGO and Division Support Center.
  • Coordinate with FCA Support Center departments on the administration of the Division Office.
  • Collaborate with International Division Directors of Sport and Advance to understand the key development issues and provide support.
  • Work with the EVP of International Administration to ensure required government filings and reports are completed accurately and timely.
  • Coordinate organizational and Divisional priorities.
  • Work to identify and develop plans to improve support to ISPs.
  • Steward the finances for the Division Office.
  • Prepare the annual budget for the Division Office.
  • Approval of Vendor payments
  • Approval of ISP Grant Requests from ISPs.
  • Ensures donations are properly processed and receipted.
  • Coordinates with the FCA Finance Department to prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Manages expenses in line with the approved budget.
  • Collaborate with the IDVP to vet and approve ISPs.
  • Ensure the proper ISP Agreements are in place with ISPs within the division.
  • Audit ISP's compliance with FCA Standards.
  • Consult with ISPs on ministry administration.
  • Coordinate job posting with FCA Human Resources.
  • Collaborates with FCA HR and Payroll Department to ensure all legal requirements are met for onboarding new staff.
  • Works with the EVP of International Administration and FCA HR to ensure compliance with country labor law.
  • Collaborate with FCA HR to ensure the Staff Handbook and policies comply with labor laws.
  • Works with FCA HR to establish fair and equitable staff compensation and benefits.
  • Consultant with FCA HR on all employee relations matters.
  • Assist in ensuring FCA's intellectual property is protected, and brand guidelines are followed.
  • Ensures brand alignment per ISP licensing agreements.
  • Consult with FCA Marketing and Communications on media inquiries, public relations, and a ministry marketing plan.
  • Works with the EVP of International Administration and FCA Technology to ensure that FCA technology processes and systems are properly maintained and support the ministry.
  • Ensures all technology systems and applications comply with international regulations and standards.
  • Conduct an annual risk assessment for the FCA entity.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and training to minimize risk.
  • Obtain proper levels of insurance coverage in the country.
  • Work with the FCA Legal Department to review and approve all contracts and agreements.
  • Works with Division leadership in the ministry planning processes.
  • Assist in areas that need special support in the planning and reporting processes and policies.
  • Supports the field leadership in capturing key outcomes and action items.
