About the Role

We're looking for an entry-level Technician to support our senior technicians in the repair and maintenance of our autonomous vehicles. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone early in their career who wants to learn advanced vehicle systems while building strong foundational skills. You'll assist with repairs, keep the garage running smoothly, and grow into more advanced technical responsibilities over time.
Responsibilities

Assist senior technicians with diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on autonomous vehicles

Hand tools, fetch parts, and help stage jobs so senior techs can work efficiently

Observe and learn repair procedures specific to autonomous vehicle systems (sensors, wiring harnesses, computing units, etc.)

Perform basic maintenance tasks under supervision (fluid checks, tire rotations, basic part replacement)

Keep the garage workspace clean, organized, and safe

Maintain organized tool storage and ensure tools are returned to designated locations

Track and organize parts inventory; flag low stock to supervisors

Set up and break down work bays for scheduled jobs

Ensure compliance with shop safety standards and cleanliness protocols

Move and position vehicles within the garage as needed

Assist with receiving, unpacking, and logging incoming parts or equipment

Document work performed and parts used for each job

Follow all safety procedures, including those specific to high-voltage or sensor-equipped vehicles

High school diploma or equivalent

Basic mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience (personal projects, coursework, or prior work)

Familiarity with basic hand and power tools

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions closely

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
