The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting shipping and receiving operations, and ensuring timely delivery of parts and materials to internal teams. This role plays a key part in supporting service, maintenance, engineering, and operations by keeping inventory organized, accessible, and moving efficiently across facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counting, audits, and system updates
  • Perform scheduled and ad-hoc cycle counts, investigate variances, and support inventory adjustments
  • Track inbound and outbound materials using inventory systems (MES/ERP or similar)
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of parts and materials
  • Monitor inventory levels and flag shortages or discrepancies proactively
  • Support service parts inventory and replenishment needs
  • Deliver parts and materials to engineering, maintenance, and operations teams as needed
  • Support urgent part requests and prioritize time-sensitive deliveries
  • Assist maintenance teams by staging and delivering service parts.
  • Receive inbound shipments and verify contents against packing lists and purchase orders
  • Prepare outbound shipments including packaging, labeling, and staging for carrier pickup
  • Coordinate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure timely movement of materials
  • Maintain shipping and receiving documentation accuracy
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all safety, inventory control, and compliance procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in inventory, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or operations preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Forklift driving experience (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
  • Comfortable performing physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and staging materials
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods

The US hourly range for this full-time position is between $35/hr to $40/hr.

The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
