Performs CT imaging procedures, operates CT equipment, positions patient, performs and documents patient assessment as it relates to the imaging encounter.  Exports images to PACS, accesses and utilizes computer HIS/RIS as needed.  Prepares CT room, equipment, and supplies. 

What You Will Need:

• →Graduate of formal radiologic technology training program in an approved school.
• →ARRT (R) required:  ODH license in radiography required.
• →Must be currently certified in CPR, and be recertified bi-annually.
• →Ability to work in an environment that is fast-paced requiring multi-tasking.
• →Uses proper body mechanics.  Ability to push, pull and/or lift patient from carts, wheelchairs, or other transport devices, onto imaging table/couch.
• →Complies with all Service Excellence, Quality, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
• →Ability to read and write small letters and numbers.
• →Ability to maintain neat and orderly files and records.
• →Ability to communicate and understand oral and written communication.
• →Ability to communicate effectively with management, physicians, co‑workers, patients and students.
• →Punctual attendance at assigned work location is required.
• →Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner and maintain an accident free work place, including ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of Medical Center emergency codes.
• →Ability to comply with OSHA regulations and CDC standard and transmission-based precaution recommendations and to utilize proper personal protective equipment.  Ability to comply with provisions of applicable S.D.S. forms.
