Metadata Analyst / Consultant

• →Assess, define, and optimize various metadata management processes and standards such as business metadata definitions and technical metadata requirements
• →Recommend new use cases. processes and standards as needed
• →Support identification, prioritization, approach to remediate existing metadata.
• →Deliver ongoing remediation cycle for prioritized business and technical metadata
• →Support review and approval of extracted current metadata with relevant Business Data Stewards, Business SME’s, Data Custodians, etc., to review, validate, change, enhance, and update metadata documentation
• →Support ingestion of updated and approved metadata into metadata tools
• →Create and deliver metadata awareness, education, training, and communication materials
• →Participate in business development, proposal creation and the contracting process
• →Supports the development of project deliverables, synthesizes findings and integrates them into strategic-level deliverables
• →Provides overall accountability for logistics within metadata engagement
• →Provides quality assurance review of all metadata deliverables
• →Documents and analyzes results from meetings, researches and reviews relevant documents
• →Captures and documents business, functional and technical requirements
• →Files all project artifacts and deliverables and maintains document inventory
• →Facilitates required interactions and meeting sessions
• →Works on tasks as directed by the Engagement Lead
• →Coordinates the scheduling of meetings and develops, distributes and stores project artifacts, work papers and deliverables
