Sr Cloud Platform Engineer

As part of the Product Engineering organization, the Senior DevOps Engineer will play a key role in building, operating, and enhancing cloud platform capabilities that support highly available and scalable services.

This role focuses on implementation, automation, and operational excellence, working closely with platform, SRE, and product engineering teams.

We are looking for a hands-on senior engineer who thrives in production environments, enjoys solving complex operational problems, and contributes to building reliable cloud platforms. This role requires strong execution skills, ownership of deliverables, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Note: You will be required to maintain working hours that overlap with U.S. Pacific time zones to support collaboration.

• →Design, implement, and automate components of large-scale distributed cloud systems
• →Implement and support PAM solutions, primarily on OpenStack, ensuring secure and reliable access management
• →Build tools, automation, and workflows to improve availability, scalability, latency, and operational efficiency
• →Work closely with engineering and delivery teams to deploy high-quality software in a fast-paced environment
• →Monitor production and development environments and implement preventive and corrective measures to ensure platform reliability
• →Participate in incident response, debugging, and root cause analysis for production issues
• →Collaborate across teams to deliver consistent and reliable solutions
• →Document designs, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides clearly and effectively
• →Contribute to improvements in reliability metrics such as availability, MTTD, and MTTR

• 5–7+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or production operations
• 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting systems, debugging production issues, and working with networking concepts
• 3+ years of public cloud experience (OpenStack, AWS, or GCP), with OpenStack experience preferred
• Experience implementing and supporting security or access management solutions, including PAM
• Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and automation, using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows (e.g., GitLab)
• Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, infrastructure, and cloud services
• Solid experience with Linux environments, including system administration, scripting, and performance troubleshooting
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
