About The Role

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We’re looking for a Technical Sourcer to join our Technical Recruiting team. Reporting to the Head of Technical Recruiting, you’ll build and cultivate talent pools for our engineering teams and play a key role as a talent advisor to Recruiters and Hiring Managers, a true partner - collaborative, consultative, a champion of Fivetran values! This is a full-time position based out of our Oakland office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

What You'll Do

Testing Subtopic

• Partner with recruiters and hiring teams to understand recruitment strategy and hiring goals for their focus area, and build a complementary sourcing strategy, providing industry insight and competitive intelligence with a strategic focus on diversity at every stage of the funnel.
• Utilize a data-driven approach to analyze forecast, track, and communicate key operational metrics to the business, while using metrics to drive operational perfection across the team.
• Stay abreast of new trends in the industry and marketplace and maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruiting issues related analytics and compliance relative to our recruiting efforts.
• Innovate on sourcing and recruiting strategies, recommend process adjustments, new tools, and standard methodologies to identify unique and non-traditional sources of top talent.
• Develop expansive sourcing strategies enabling us to grow a representative organization

Skills We’re Looking For 

• Strong recruiting and sourcing experience. The majority of your experience has been focused on Engineering sourcing in a fast-growth technology company.
• A proven track record in driving efficiency in the use of technologies, processes, and workflow.
• A proven excellence in relationship building, consulting, and negotiation skills, both internally and externally.
• Data-driven and results-oriented mindset that demonstrates critical thinking abilities, along with an analytical and quantitative approach.
• Detail-oriented project management skills with the ability to multi-task and stay focused in a fast-paced environment that moves with a constant sense of urgency.
• Ability to operate with focus, efficiency, and passion.
• Sophisticated knowledge of ATS (Greenhouse preferred) and CRM (GEM preferred)
• Experience partnering with and hiring Senior+ IC’s and Engineering Manager+ level candidates
