ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Asia-Pacific Market Manager (Leisure Land Procurement), you will sit at the centre of how Flight Centre Travel Group brings compelling, market-relevant hotel content to life. You will shape the competitiveness of our hotel portfolio across APAC, ensuring our leisure brands have access to well-priced, high-impact content that converts. Working closely with Contract Managers, suppliers, and internal teams, you will directly influence attachment, campaign success, and customer choice. This is a hands-on, commercially driven role where curiosity, pace, and ownership matter.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Maintain rate relevance and commercial competitiveness across a defined APAC hotel portfolio, spanning direct contracts and third-party connectors
  • Conduct regular market and rate monitoring across BAR, member, wholesale, tactical, and package rates
  • Proactively engage hotel partners to resolve rate inconsistencies, leakage, and channel conflicts
  • Source and secure tactical rates, flexible and refundable offers, inclusions, upgrades, and value-adds for campaigns and peak trading periods
  • Partner with Contract Managers to support supplier negotiations, renewals, and commercial conversations
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, Loyalty, Distribution, and Product teams to activate hotel content across selling channels
  • Monitor and analyse portfolio performance, providing actionable insights and reporting to stakeholders
  • Support onboarding and activation of new hotel content across direct and third-party platforms
  • Build strong operational relationships with hotel suppliers to drive content quality and availability
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • 2–4 years’ experience in a commercial role within travel, hospitality, retail travel, wholesale, or hotel procurement
  • Strong understanding of what makes hotel product sell, with a customer- and consultant-focused mindset
  • Experience engaging suppliers or commercial partners directly
  • Confident communicator and negotiator at an operational level
  • Commercial curiosity with a proactive, self-starting approach
  • Experience with hotel booking or distribution platforms (e.g. HELiO, Salesforce, HotelHub) desirable but not essential
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Hospitality, Tourism, or related field desirable but not essential
