Flow Traders is looking for an experienced Lead HR Generalist to join our team in our Amsterdam office. In this role you will own and elevate our global HR operations - building a proactive, high-quality HR service that runs consistently across every region and lets our HR Business Partners focus on partnering with the business. As Flow Traders has differentiated themselves from competitors through a very employee-centric company culture, the HR department has a crucial role in maintaining this aspect and taking it to the next level. Our team focuses on the operational part of HR, but also on various projects concerning employee motivation, satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Own the HR services and operations landscape globally, ensuring work is delivered proactively, to a consistent quality standard, and within agreed SLAs
- →Lead, develop and set priorities for a team of 2 HR Generalists, instilling a proactive, ownership-driven way of working
- →Set and enforce SLAs and quality standards so work is right first time - no chasing, no rework
- →Own recurring HR processes end-to-end (engagement survey, onboarding/offboarding, contract and documentation creation, and more)
- →Act as the single point of accountability for HR operational delivery and the first point of contact for managers on operational matters
- →Handle data and reporting requests directly, and ensure data integrity across our HR systems
- →Drive process improvements and automation, leveraging AI where it adds value
- →Design and roll out globally consistent ways of working across our regions, with local variation only where law and regulation require it
Requirements
~1 min read- A strong operational HR / HR service delivery background across the employee lifecycle
- Proven leadership experience - able to set standards, hold a team to account, and raise performance
- A demonstrable track record of building an SLA and quality-driven culture
- Confident stakeholder management with senior managers and employees
- Proactive, self-directed and reliable under volume - a genuine can-do, hands-on attitude
- Comfortable with HRIS systems and strong on data discipline
- An eagerness to leverage AI and automation to improve how HR operates
- Experience in, or the ability to thrive at the pace of, FinTech / trading / financial services
- A strong personality suited to a demanding, fast-paced, global environment
