About the Role

Flow is seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Finance to support our Flag Business, the company’s core Property Management platform. This role is the primary finance partner to the Business Lead of Flag Business and reports directly to the CFO.

You will operate as an embedded business partner within the Property Management organization, driving operational performance, profitability, scalability, and growth. The role combines financial acumen with operational insight and a deep understanding of how AI, automation, and analytics transform business performance and decision-making.

This is a high-visibility role shaping the future of Flow’s largest operating business. The best candidates are quantitatively excellent, intellectually curious, and able to operate with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Serve as the lead finance partner to the Business Lead for Flag Business (Property Management).
  • Provide financial and operational insights to support strategic decisions, growth, and efficiency.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on performance management, pricing, resource allocation, and profitability.
  • Help translate operational objectives into measurable financial outcomes and KPIs.
  • Support acquisitions, market expansion, and new service offerings through financial analysis and scenario modeling.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and monthly financial reviews for the Flag Business platform.
  • Build operational and financial models for performance drivers, labor efficiency, customer retention, occupancy, margins, and growth.
  • Deliver variance analysis and recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Monitor and analyze key operating metrics across the property management portfolio.
  • Drive forecasting accuracy and business visibility through real-time analytics.
  • Champion AI-enabled analytics, automation, and reporting tools across the Property Management finance function.
  • Use predictive analytics to improve forecasting, operational planning, and decision speed.
  • Partner with Technology and Operations to improve data infrastructure and automation.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and eliminate manual processes using AI and automation technologies.
  • Help build a next-generation finance organization aligned with Flow’s innovation-first culture.
  • Prepare executive-level dashboards, KPIs, board materials, and management reporting packages.
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights to finance and operational leadership.
  • Create business performance narratives that connect operational activity to financial outcomes.
  • Support lender, investor, and executive reporting.
  • Partner closely with Accounting, Operations, Asset Management, Revenue Management, and Technology teams.
  • Improve alignment between operational execution and financial planning processes.
  • Drive consistency in reporting methodologies, data governance, and performance measurement standards across the business.
  • Assist in evaluating organizational investments, staffing models, vendor relationships, and operational initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
  • 12+ years of progressive strategic finance or operational finance experience at high growth companies.
  • Real estate, property management, hospitality, or multi-site operations experience.
  • Track record partnering with operational leaders, with an entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented bias toward action.
  • Experience using AI, automation, and analytics tools within finance or operational decision-making.
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with financial planning platforms and AI-driven tools; advanced Excel required.
  • Strong executive communication; able to translate complex data into clear insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker who operates at a high level while remaining hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intellectually curious, with genuine interest in emerging technologies.
