Responsibilities

→Capture and produce high-quality photo and video content featuring team members, projects, events, and company initiatives
→Assist with short-form and long-form content creation for social media and digital platforms
→Support social media management, including drafting posts, scheduling content, and monitoring engagement
→Collaborate with the Marketing & Creative team on content campaigns and brand initiatives
→Help maintain organized digital asset libraries (photos, videos, graphics)
→Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh content ideas
→Ensure all content aligns with Fortera’s brand voice and visual identity

Requirements

3+ years of study in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field by the start of the internship
Internship eligibility: Candidates must be actively enrolled in an academic program at the start of the internship and have at least one academic term (quarter or semester) remaining following the internship period
Strong interest in content creation and digital storytelling
Experience with photography and/or videography (academic, personal, or professional)
Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
Basic knowledge of content editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar)
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Basic video editing skills
Understanding of social media trends and analytics
Creative eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling

COMPENSATION:

The hourly range for this job is $25.00 - $30.00, commensurate with experience.
