At Fourier, we’re making on-site hydrogen universally accessible. Our breakthrough architecture enables highly modular and fully automated electrolyzer systems that scale efficiently across a wide range of operating conditions. Backed by leading venture investors, we’re building real hardware to accelerate the transition to a clean energy future.
About the Role
~1 min readWe’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to help take our electrolyzer systems from prototype to scalable production. This role sits at the intersection of design, supply chain, and the factory floor. You’ll own manufacturing processes end-to-end—driving build quality, repeatability, cost reduction, and throughput as we scale. You will have the chance to bring up an electrolyzer system assembly line from scratch and shape how manufacturing at Fourier will transform.
This is a hands-on role working directly with hardware, technicians, and cross-functional engineering teams.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →
Develop, document, and optimize manufacturing and assembly processes for electro/mechanical/fluidic systems
- →
Own manufacturing process flows, work instructions, tool selection, BOMs, and build documentation
- →
Support prototype builds, pilot production, and transition to low- and mid-volume manufacturing
- →
Identify and resolve manufacturing issues related to yield, quality, cost, and reliability
- →
Collaborate with design engineers to influence DFM/DFA early in the design cycle
- →
Work closely with supply chain and vendors to qualify parts, tools, inventory, and processes
- →
Design or specify fixtures, tooling, and test setups to support production and validation
- →
