The VP Regional Manager, Retail Growth (Suffolk) position will have the Branch Managers reporting directly to them. They will be primarily accountable for achieving the branch sales goals and balance sheet growth expectations of the branches in their region. They will share accountability for the member experience and operational execution and will partner closely with the AVPs Regional Service and Operations. They will have full accountability for ensuring the sales team is fully staffed and will collaborate closely with recruiting to make that happen. They will be expected to provide strategic recommendations to enhance the financial performance of the retail business.

  • Develop forward-thinking sales strategies aligned with the credit union’s overall goals. Identify and provide strategic direction to respond to growth opportunities, market trends, and emerging member needs. Foster innovation in sales processes and member engagement.
  • Lead and coach Branch teams to achieve sales, service and employee experience excellence. Cultivates a sales culture within the branch network, emphasizing teamwork, accountability, and member-centric solutions. This includes recruiting, training, performance management, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Implement process improvements in branch behaviors and techniques to drive revenue, enhance the member and employee experience, and obtain corporate objectives. Work closely with business partners to define and implement strategies for solutions.
  • Drive growth and expand the membership base within the region.
  • Achieve sales performance targets for branches, monitor progress, and continuously provide guidance and performance management measures to ensure goals are met.
  • Analyze reporting to inspect execution of sales strategy and to drive performance improvement. Implement and lead real time and trend-based coaching to develop skills and enhance consistent execution of sales process.
  • Lead Bank at Work initiative in region for smaller employers to drive checking acquisition. Partner with Business Development to grow the number of corporate business partners and to deepen penetration of the employee base at existing CBP’s in close proximity to branches.
  • Partner closely with the AVPs Regional Service and Operations to ensure branches operate in a sound control environment. Collaborate to ensure the team is highly engaged and deliver superior member experience. This includes managing staffing levels, training, and resource allocation.
  • Drive and lead initiatives to increase revenue production generated from the branch network. This includes deposit, lending, investment and ancillary products distributed through the retail line of business. Partner with marketing to implement targeted campaigns to promote deposit offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including members and community leaders.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in retail banking or financial services, with regional or multi-branch responsibility.
  • NMLS License.

The expected salary for this position is $155,333.00 to $194,168.00 annually.
