To thrive as a Supply Assistant at Fourth Street Clinic, you'll need a combination of essential skills and a proactive mindset. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with strong organizational and time management abilities to juggle multiple responsibilities effectively. Your knack for prioritizing tasks will be crucial as you assist in maintaining efficient inventory systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to collaborate seamlessly with department leaders, fostering a supportive team environment. Additionally, physical dexterity is important, as you'll need to perform tasks such as lifting and moving supplies.

While experience in inventory management, purchasing, or supply chain support is preferred, a solid understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards, such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS), will set you up for success. Training or certification in supply chain management or procurement is a bonus, showcasing your commitment to professionalism in this vital role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
