Summary
Foxconn Industrial Internet (Fii) is seeking motivated Engineering Interns to join our Houston, Texas facility for the Summer 2027 Internship Program. Interns will gain hands-on experience in a world-class manufacturing environment and work alongside engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations teams on projects that support process improvement, operational efficiency, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Support process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
Analyze manufacturing data and identify opportunities for optimization.
Assist with process standardization and documentation.
Contribute to digital transformation and automation projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve real-world manufacturing and engineering challenges.
Present project findings and recommendations to stakeholders as needed.

Basic Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) onsite in Houston, Texas from May through August 2027.

Preferred Qualifications

Rising Junior or Senior.
GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Interest in process improvement, automation, manufacturing, or data analytics.
Ability to communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Education and Experience

Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
Previous internship, academic project, or research experience related to engineering or manufacturing is a plus.
CPT authorization supported for eligible F-1 students.
