The Commercial Electrical Lead will successfully manage the execution of commercial projects. You will lead, train, and support a team of installers including overseeing work performance, and provide project status updates to the Director of Construction and/or Commercial Operations Manager.

Provides leadership for those reporting to you by clearly communicating the mission, goals, and values of Freedom Power.

Plans, coordinates and organizes people, equipment, tools, and materials to promote the safe, efficient, and timely construction of the project.

Ensures that construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained.

Maintains accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, timesheets, photos, and daily management reports. (Procore)

May assist in developing a weekly schedule and in carrying out a sequence of activities for assigned crew.

Responsible for timely completion of work assignments within the estimated costs while maintaining the company’s reputation for quality workmanship/product.

Responsible for the safety of those on the crew and will conduct all operations according to all applicable company and government safety regulations.

Develops and conducts toolbox meetings; communicates safety concerns, work scope, plans, and schedules to lead and crews.

Ensures that crew members clock in and out daily to log work hours.

Monitors compliance by all employees under his/her supervision with all FSP policies.

Assist with other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of local electrical codes

Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring schematics, and electrical instructions

Ability to make field changes and communicate with Project Manager and Construction Manager

Ability to test voltages from 10V – 1000VDC / 120V – 480VAC

Ability to manage up to 1 or more apprentices

Ability to receive and distribute instructions

Ability to communicate problems to Project Manager

Ability to drive a truck and trailer safely
