ProFound Therapeutics: Oncology Co-Op

• →The successful candidate will work both independently and as part of a collaborative team to design, plan and execute experiments that support research activities, project goals and platform development
• →Serve as a contributor to the Oncology team, whose mission is to discover new therapeutics and validate new therapeutic targets
• →Report experimental plans and results to the scientific team 
• →Proactively review literature to contribute to new ideas, methods/technologies for discovery and therapeutic areas

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in oncology and/or cell biology or related field, such as biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, or protein sciences.
• Hands-on laboratory experience in cellular and molecular biology techniques and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information in a clear and thorough manner
• Strong collaborative skills with evidence of working in a team

• Prior industry or academic research co-op experience in Cell Biology
• Experience with cell based assay development
• Basic knowledge on Flow cytometry and/or immunoblots
• Confident execution, focused and team-oriented with an ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
• Experience with data analysis using Graphpad Prism and Microsoft Excel.

The pay range for this role is $20 - $40 per hour. This role is a short-term engagement that is not eligible for health and welfare benefits. Retirement benefits may be available after completing a set number of hours.
