Senior Hauling Dispatcher

We’re looking for a calm, organized, and resourceful individual to join our team at Astro Towing as a Senior Hauling Dispatcher. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, thinking on their feet, and coordinating multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by helping coordinate trucks, trailers, drivers, and customer requests. While previous hauling or dispatch experience is considered an asset, it is not required. We provide hands-on training and support to help you build the knowledge and confidence you need to succeed.

This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role where priorities can shift quickly and no two days look the same. With experience, you’ll develop a strong understanding of logistics, fleet coordination, transportation operations, and customer service within the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing incoming calls, emails, and requests for hauling services
• Coordinating and dispatching trucks, trailers, and equipment based on job requirements
• Planning routes and schedules to ensure efficient and timely service
• Communicating job details, requirements, and updates to drivers
• Providing customers with updates, timelines, and support
• Adjusting plans as needed to handle delays, changes, or unexpected issues
• Coordinating documentation, permits, and job-related details
• Monitoring active jobs to ensure smooth execution and completion
• Working closely with management and the operations team to support daily planning
• Helping prepare schedules and assignments for upcoming shifts
