As the Manager, Warehouse Operations, you will play a critical role in supporting continuous data center operations by ensuring all materials, equipment, and components are received, stored, and distributed accurately and efficiently. The position oversees all warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, storage, and on-site material distribution. Leading a team of leads and material handlers, you will drive operational excellence and ensure that all materials are available when and where they are needed to prevent downtime
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manage day-to-day warehouse operations team, including receiving, intake, put-away, picking, staging, and shipping.
- →Manage scheduling, staffing, and workload distribution to meet operational goals.
- →Serve as the primary contact for all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring materials, equipment, and supplies are delivered accurately and on schedule.
- →Ensure timely onsite material distribution to fulfill work orders and minimize risk of operational downtime.
- →Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time shipping, order accuracy, throughput, and productivity.
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to support site operational objectives.
- →Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- →Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- →Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, including shipping and receiving operations
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, material handling, and OSHA safety standards.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance for shipping, receiving, and storage.
- Experience coordinating inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to perform all duties in environments that may contain dust, wind, high noise, hot and cold weather.
- Position may require flexible hours to support warehouse operations, including early mornings, evenings, weekends.
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Experience using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) preferably IBM Maximo
- Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement certification
- Experience working in a data center or mission-critical environment
