Gasfin is where engineering meets impact. Since 2009, we’ve been building and managing world-class LNG infrastructure projects across the globe—from the drawing board to real-world delivery. Our clients include governments, energy companies, and infrastructure operators, all working toward the same goal: secure, stable, and sustainable energy.

In 2023, we became the lead consultant and in 2025 also the On-Site Operations Manager for Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH (DET)—Germany’s state-owned terminal operator, created to respond to the national energy supply challenges triggered by the Ukraine crisis.
We believe energy should be reliable, affordable, and future-ready. That’s why we view LNG as a powerful transition fuel on the path to greener energy systems.

We are looking for an LNG Cargo- and Shipping Operations expert preferably with experience in a commodity trading to join our team. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team and will be involved in a wide range of activities. Your main focus will be on logistics and planning optimization for our commercial management activities in relation to the FSRU terminals in Germany.

  • Evaluate contracts and diversion options to secure maximum value
  • Support in contract negotiations (SPAs, MSPAs, CNs, TUAs)

Shipping operations:

  • Communicate with the shippers on a day-to-day basis, including voyage change orders and communication with Master and Head Owners
  • Secure vessel clearance at load and discharge ports and vessel owner CoU compliance
  • Manage voyage optimization including fuel optimization, FO bunker replenishment, performance claims etc.

General responsibilities:

  • Work closely with other teams to maximize efficiency and minimize cost
  • Develop relationships with third parties, including terminals, vessel owners, shipping agents, surveyors and counterpart commercial operators
  • Provide market intelligence to support analytics and traders understanding of market activity
