This role is responsible for defining and executing the Indirect Procurement strategy across Germany, Italy, and Switzerland within the GRoW business unit.

 

The position leads the regional productivity agenda, drives procurement transformation, and ensures sustainable year-on-year value delivery across Indirect spend categories through strong stakeholder management, supplier partnerships, and alignment with Global and EMEA Procurement teams.

 

The role combines strategic leadership with operational execution and acts as the key procurement partner to business leadership teams across the market.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead Indirect Procurement categories across GRoW, including: IT & Telecom, Professional Services, HR Services, Travel & Events, Temporary Labor, Fleet, Commercial Services, Energy, MRO, and Facility Management.
  • Develop and execute regional procurement strategies aligned with business priorities, productivity targets, and global procurement frameworks.
  • Deliver sustainable savings and value creation through strategic sourcing, supplier management, and total cost of ownership methodologies.
  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders, Finance, Legal, and Global Category teams to ensure procurement initiatives support business objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Drive supplier relationship management, including supplier performance reviews, innovation programs, sustainability initiatives, and governance processes.
  • Ensure effective execution of global and sector contracts across the region.
  • Lead procurement governance and myBuy deployment, ensuring strong compliance, spend visibility, and process excellence.
  • Coach and support local and offshore procurement teams while fostering collaboration across the wider procurement organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement, ideally within FMCG or a similarly complex multinational environment.
  • Proven experience managing teams and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong strategic sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior leadership levels.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with a data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a complex, matrix organization.
  • Fluent English required; German and/or Italian is a plus.What we offer:
