Augustus is building a bank from the ground up. The finance team is at the very core of the bank's operations: capital structure, regulatory filings, product economics, and business development all run through this team.

You close loops, flag issues early, and push back when something doesn't add up.

You need a well-defined role and a clear playbook to do your best work.

You work best at the strategic level and leave the detail to others.
Details slip through and you catch them later, if at all.
A fixed 9-5 is non-negotiable.

Requirements

2-4 years of full-time experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or banking.
Strong Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills - comfortable designing and auditing models others will rely on.
Strong academic background.
In New York or ready to relocate.

Compensation packages at Augustus include base salary, equity, and benefits. New hire offers are made based on a candidate's experience, expertise and geographic location. The annual US base salary range for this role is $150,000-$180,000 + equity.
