What We Offer
~1 min readResponsibilities
~2 min readAs Giga Energy's Senior Recruiter for Data Center EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction), you will own hiring for the teams that get our data centers designed, permitted, procured, and built. You'll be the connective tissue between our project development, construction, engineering, and procurement leaders and the market of talent that can execute at our pace. This is a full-cycle role: writing sharp job descriptions, building sourcing strategies for hard-to-find EPC talent, running phone screens, coordinating interviews, and closing candidates. As the recruiter driving hiring for our physical build, you'll need deep comfort with construction and infrastructure hiring, and the independence to run the process end to end.
- →Own full-cycle recruiting for EPC roles: Manage all recruiting efforts for critical EPC and construction reqs — from sourcing to interview management to close — with an emphasis on strong hiring manager partnership and candidate advocacy.
- →Build the EPC talent pipeline: Build and maintain talent pipelines for project development, construction management, medium/high-voltage engineering, procurement, and field construction roles.
- →Source across industry-adjacent talent pools: Go beyond job boards — tap general contractors, EPC firms, and adjacent industries like oil & gas, LNG, and utility-scale energy to find candidates who can operate at our pace.
- →Manage stakeholders: Partner with construction, engineering, and project development leadership to understand hiring needs, develop job descriptions, and build recruitment plans specific to the build organization.
- →Be an ambassador for Giga Energy: Share the Giga Energy story, culture, and vision with prospective candidates, and build our reputation as a destination for top EPC and infrastructure talent.
- →Own the data: Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in Greenhouse (ATS) and generate regular recruiting reports on pipeline health and hiring velocity.
- →Deliver an awesome candidate experience: We move fast here at Giga Energy — you'll manage the end-to-end experience for EPC candidates, from application through video screen, in-person interviews, and offer.
This role is ideally based in our San Francisco, Long Beach, or Houston offices, with full-time onsite expectations outside of bi-weekly WFH Fridays.
That said, we will make exceptions for truly exceptional talent if you live outside one of our hubs. If you're the right person for this role, we'll have a conversation about what works.
