Manage, coordinate and deliver project-specific BIM
About us:
For over 60 years we’ve been designing exceptional places across the globe, driven by the belief that by designing intelligently with people and nature we can make a positive difference. We value highly our living legacy – it’s one of the pillars of our practice – and that means that we’re always looking for passionate, purposeful and like-minded people to join us.
Ranging across the UK and internationally we design places from small community parks and neighbourhoods to city districts. We are collaborative, supportive and foster a creative design approach that is intelligent, responsible and with foresight to best protect and harness the earth’s equilibrium. We can help create remarkable places that are personal and be the setting for human stories to unfold. We are an agile, independently minded team, working in creative and sociable studio atmospheres from six cities – London, Oxford, Manchester, Leeds, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh.
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator to join our landscape architecture studio in Leeds, Manchester, Oxford or London. You will oversee and manage BIM processes to support the efficient design, development, and delivery of projects. Working closely with landscape architects, designers, and project teams, you will act as the primary contact for BIM-related activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and collaborative workflows.
You will support BIM delivery across a broad range of landscape architecture, public realm, masterplanning and urban design projects — from community parks and neighbourhoods to large-scale city districts. You will coordinate information with architects, civil engineers, planners and specialist consultants to help achieve integrated and high-quality project delivery across all stages.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, coordinate and deliver project-specific BIM data, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all project stages.
- Develop and manage detailed Revit models for landscape architecture, masterplanning and urban design projects, incorporating reliable data and accurate graphical outputs.
- Conduct regular model audits and health checks to ensure compliance with project requirements and Gillespies’ BIM standards.
- Manage information exchanges, file naming, version control and Common Data Environment workflows within ACC / Forma.
- Perform clash detection, coordinate federated models, track issues and support the resolution of design conflicts to maintain model integrity.
- Collaborate in the preparation and maintenance of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs), Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDPs), and associated project documentation.
- Implement and maintain Gillespies’ BIM standards and workflows in line with ISO 19650.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BIM and design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Navisworks and ACC / Forma.
- Train and guide team members on BIM best practices, studio workflows, and emerging digital tools.
- Support the preparation of 3D visual outputs for design development and coordination purposes.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, external consultants, and clients to support effective BIM integration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support project teams in integrating sustainable design practices into BIM workflows, including data-rich information and environmental analysis processes where applicable.
- Stay up to date with emerging BIM technologies and methodologies and proactively support the implementation of tools and workflows that improve delivery and design innovation.
About you:

- Experience delivering medium to large-scale BIM-enabled projects.
- Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

- Experience working within a Common Data Environment, particularly ACC / Forma.

- Experience coordinating information with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to support and guide project teams effectively.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent professional experience in architecture, landscape architecture, engineering, design technology, or a related discipline.
