About the Role
The Benefits Administrator provides essential support in ensuring excellence in our benefits operations. This role is focused on the accurate execution of daily administrative tasks, data integrity, compliance support, and the maintenance of operational processes for our employee benefits programs.
Please note: this is a 1 year fixed term contract and we require an immediate joiner
What you will do:
- Operational Support and Process Execution
- Process Execution: Execute daily tasks related to benefit administration, including ensuring accuracy in enrollments, eligibility changes, and vendor data exchanges in an efficient manner.
- Process Documentation: Assist in maintaining and organizing departmental documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process workflows, and benefit plan summaries.
- Continuous Improvement Support: Identify and propose efficiency opportunities in existing processes; assist in the execution of continuous process improvements.
- Employee Support: Serve as a point of contact for routine employee benefit inquiries.
- Data Integrity & Analysis Assistance
- Data Reconciliation: Perform routine data reconciliation checks between payroll records, HRIS, and vendors to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Automation Support: Support the implementation of process improvements by testing new system configurations and documenting changes to existing workflows.
- Compliance Support: Gather documentation for required annual filings and disclosures, and ensure operational adherence to regulations.
- Reporting Assistance: Generate standard operational reports and assist in preliminary analysis of benefit utilization and cost reports.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
- Internal Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact for basic operational queries, collaborating with Global Ops, HRIS, and Payroll teams to ensure accurate data flow.
- Vendor Support: Coordinate day-to-day operational communication with benefit vendors, escalating complex eligibility or system issues to senior team members.
- Communications Support: Assist in preparing and distributing benefit communication materials across the organization to support employee education.
What we’re looking for:
Minimum requirements:
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in an administrative role, office management, or HR support.
- Technical Acumen: Proficiency with HRIS/Benefits Administration systems is a plus. Strong foundational data manipulation and analysis skills using MS Excel / Google Sheets (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Basic familiarity with global and/or domestic benefits regulations is preferred.
- Detail Orientation: Exceptional organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to manage detailed data accurately and efficiently.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer service orientation.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving basic system or data discrepancies.
