German Language Teacher for Young Children in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Spain

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring a German (DaF) Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to our client in Pozuelo de Alarcón.

• Students: Two 2-year-old twins taking lessons together (small group)
• Location: Lessons are to be held at the students' home on Vía de las Dos Castillas, near Restaurante Cul de Sac, in Pozuelo de Alarcón
• Availability: Monday through Friday between 4pm and 6pm CET
• Preferred start date: September 1st
• Lesson Frequency and Duration: Twice per week, 45 minutes per session
• Current German level: Complete beginner
• Native language: Spanish
• Students' language needs and goals: The family is preparing to relocate to Germany. The children need to learn basic vocabulary to attend a German nursery/kindergarten and interact with other kids.
• Additional Information: They enjoy nature, animals, dancing, and music.

• →Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• →Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• →Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in German
• Degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years of German (DaF) teaching experience
• Experience working with children is a must
