Spanish Language Teacher in San Francisco, Costa Rica

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring a Spanish (ELE) Language Teacher to provide in-person lessons to our client in San Francisco.

• Student: 1 adult (female)

• Location: Lessons are to be held at the student's workplace on Calle Domingueños in San Francisco, Heredia

• Preferred start date: Monday, September 28, 2026

• Availability: Monday to Friday around 2 or 3pm

• Lesson Frequency: 4 or 5 times per week

• Lesson Duration: 60 minutes per session

• Current Spanish level: Unsure; the teacher needs to assess it

• Native language: English

• Student’s language needs and goals: Daily communication, building confidence to go day by day activities.
   
• Student's interests: Learning more about Costa Rica's culture.

  Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons

  Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes

  Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals

  Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language

• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field

• Minimum of two years of teaching experience
