About the Role
~1 min readWe're building the next generation of cross-border fintech infrastructure — powering payments, KYC, and global merchant experiences.
As a Senior Frontend Engineer (4–6+ years), you'll play a critical role in shaping both our frontend platform and mobile SDK ecosystem. This is not just a UI role — you'll own systems that directly impact how merchants integrate and experience our products.
You'll work across web, platform, and mobile layers (React Native / Flutter), helping us build scalable, high-performance systems from the ground up.
Responsibilities
~1 min read• Own and build checkout SDKs across payments, investments, and KYC workflows
• Build and maintain SDK integrations across web, mobile, and WebView surfaces used by merchants
• Contribute to shared platform concerns: design system and theming (multi-tenant / white-label), monorepo and shared packages, build tooling, observability patterns
• Improve performance across the stack (Core Web Vitals, rendering, bundle size)
• Implement best practices in testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and documentation
• Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and compliance teams
• Own and manage React Native and Flutter SDKs (builds, releases, merchant support)
• Ensure seamless WebView compatibility across mobile checkout flows
• Set up and scale real-device E2E testing infrastructure
• Work with external partners (agencies) and gradually bring mobile capabilities in-house
• Contribute to shared components, design systems, and frontend platform infrastructure (~30%)
• Architect scalable frontend systems (design systems, multi-tenant white-label, SDK distribution)
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
• Influence technical direction and tooling decisions
• Contribute to hiring and building the engineering team
• 4–6+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Strong experience building production-grade, customer-facing applications
• Solid foundation in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture
• Demonstrated stability (2+ years in at least one role preferred)
• Deep expertise in React (hooks, performance, composition)
• Strong TypeScript — generics, discriminated unions, inference, typing real-world data
• State management with Zustand and TanStack Query
• Vite build toolchain
• Turborepo monorepo (or willingness to ramp quickly)
• Experience with testing frameworks (Vitest, Playwright)
• Comfortable working on SDK-based architectures — versioning, publishing, consumer-facing APIs, breaking changes, graceful fallbacks
• Strong understanding of performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, bundle analysis)
• Hands-on exposure to React Native, Flutter, or mobile WebViews
• Understanding of WebView / native bridges and cross-platform constraints
• Interest in building and maintaining SDKs across web + mobile ecosystems
• Security-aware: comfortable working on payments and KYC flows where correctness, data handling, and cross-origin safety matter. Treats PII, tokens, and postMessage origins with appropriate care.
• Product sense: pushes back on briefs when the UX is wrong; distinguishes "technically correct" from "right for the user"
Nice to Have
~1 min read• Design systems (Storybook, component libraries)
• Backend basics (REST, GraphQL, Node.js)
• DevOps exposure (CI/CD, AWS, Docker)
• Prior fintech, payments, or compliance product experience
We're a small, high-ownership team where engineers:
• Own features end-to-end — not just tickets
• Ship fast, but with a strong focus on quality
• Work directly with founders and leadership
• Build systems that are used in real production environments
• Ownership: takes initiative and drives outcomes
• Frontend Craft: cares deeply about performance, UX, and quality
• Pragmatism: balances speed with long-term scalability
• Curiosity: open to learning mobile and platform systems
• Honesty: clear about what they know and where they're growing
This is a high-impact role for engineers who want to:
• Build fintech products at scale (payments, KYC, compliance)
• Work across frontend + mobile + platform layers
• Have real ownership and influence on architecture
• Be part of a long-term, high-growth journey
