About this position
McPherson College seeks a strategic, detail-oriented Controller to provide leadership and oversight of the College’s financial operations. This position combines technical accounting expertise with strong leadership, cross-campus collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement in financial systems and practices. The Controller will regularly interact with faculty, staff, students, vendors, auditors, and external partners, and is expected to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and translate complex financial data into actionable insight
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and enterprise financial systems (e.g., Jenzabar, Banner, PeopleSoft, SAP), preferably in an academic setting.
