We are looking for a Software Engineer to assist in building the next generation of Data Integration Platform between eCommerce and GoDaddy Data Platform! This is an outstanding opportunity for a Software Engineer to influence and contribute to building a secure, highly available, fault-tolerant, and globally performant microservices-based platform deployed on AWS, using the newest technology stack.

• →The UDP (Unified Data Publishing) and RTF (Real Time Finance) are production data platforms with zero message loss, fault tolerance, and high availability
• →You will have the opportunity to contribute to improving existing architecture & suggest practical enhancements. 
• →Working in a scrum team, you will collaborate with other specialists, product managers, architects, and operations teams both within and outside the eCommerce group

• 3+ years of experience in a software engineering role, with experience in backend services or contributing to distributed systems. 
• 1+ years of Cloud computing experience, with AWS considered an advantage
• Experience with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud
• Experience working in agile teams
• Proven experience in Java
• Focus on code quality and high development standards
• Strong independent problem-solving skills
• Willing to adopt test-driven development techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate efficiently
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
• Good English skills – both verbal and written

• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience in writing unit, integration, and smoke tests
• Experience deploying code with CI/CD technologies like GitHub Actions and Jenkins
• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms, preferably Kubernetes
• Familiarity with containerization platforms, preferably Docker
• Proficiency with AWS Services such as S3, API Gateway, Lambda, Kinesis
• Exposure to Python would be a plus
