We’re excited to bring on qualified SIC pilots to join our Metro team. This role plays a critical part in our cargo operation and is best suited for individuals who are dependable, adaptable, and take pride in being part of a hardworking, safety-focused team. You’ll gain valuable real-world experience in a fast-paced, on-demand environment with a strong operational focus.
This position requires physical stamina and the ability to respond to an on-demand schedule, including frequent overnight callouts, weekends, and holidays.

JOB DUTIES:
- Must have professional communications skills for complex internal and external aircraft communications
- Assist with loading and unloading freight
- Operate aircraft in accordance with all applicable regulations and program/company policies and procedures
- Emphasize flight crew members safety and exemplary customer service
- Must note and communicate aircraft deficiencies for maintenance review and correction
- Perform flights during day, night, and weather conditions
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Commercial Pilot License with multi-engine land and instrument rating
- Current Instrument Proficiency Check
- English Proficient (ICAO LEVEL 4)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- FAA Medical: First Class
- FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Current Passport (passport cards are not accepted)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Must be able to lift up to 125 lbs., climb ladders, and maneuver around aircraft
- Successful completion of pre-employment DOT drug screening and other required background checks
- Ability to obtain an airport SIDA badge
- Willingness and ability to relocate to assigned base and travel extensively
- Ability to work various shifts, overtime, and/or after-hour call outs
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 800 hours TT
- 250 hours PIC
- 75 hours ME
- 40 hours Turbine
- Part 135 experience, familiarity with company aircraft, and/or previous cargo experience highly preferable.
- iPad required when reporting for duty.
- Must relocate to El Paso Texas base.
