Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline loan origination, underwriting, product development, , enhancing speed-to-decision and member satisfaction. Champion innovation in lending products and delivery channels to meet evolving member needs and market dynamics. Home Lending Excellence * Oversee the home lending operations, product management, and regulatory compliance; collaborate on pricing strategy and go-to-market activities. Drive adoption of digital mortgage platforms and self-service tools to improve accessibility and reduce friction in the home loan process. Indirect Lending Optimization * Strengthen dealer partnerships and indirect lending channels through improved funding processes, competitive products and programs, and ongoing relationship management. Implement data-driven underwriting and risk management practices to ensure portfolio quality and profitability. Operational Oversight & Compliance * Ensure adherence to all applicable federal and state regulations, including RESPA, TILA, ECOA, and indirect lending compliance standards. Lead and develop high-performing teams, including Home Loans Operations and Indirect Lending leadership, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Financial & Member Impact * Deliver measurable improvements in loan growth, net interest margin, and operational efficiency. Align lending strategies with Golden 1’s mission to serve members with integrity, transparency, and financial empowerment. Product/Program Strategy and Roadmap * Develop and refine product/program strategies to meet the needs of our members and the financial objectives of the credit union. Incorporate market research, member/consumer insights and industry trends into identifying new opportunities for growth and differentiation. Customer Insights and Market Analysis * Evaluate member and consumer needs, competitive landscape, macro-economic environment, and emerging trends in financial services to inform decision making. Translate these insights into actionable product requirements, feature/functionality enhancements, pricing changes or decisioning strategy optimization. Cross-Functional Collaboration * Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define product specifications, and prioritize feature/functionality development. Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful execution of product initiatives. Performance Monitorin * Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the performance and success of products managed. Continuously monitor and analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and drive product enhancements. Leadership * Hire/Manage team to develop best-in-class financial services product management capabilities. Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to a team of product managers and associates, fostering a collaborative, engaging, and innovative work environment. Promote continual learning, professional growth, and development within the team. Represent credit union in contacts with business and trade associations, members, and regulatory agencies. Attend civil functions and otherwise promote the credit union’s image.
