Job Title: Lifeguard
Pay: $15 Per Hour
Certification Requirement : We accept American Red Cross, Jeff Ellis & Associates, and YMCA. If you are not currently certified, we will certify you during our next lifeguard class in May 2026.
Facility Certification: Jeff Ellis & Associates

Upcoming Certification: We will be hosting a certification course September 5th & 6th from 8AM - 8PM both days FREE OF CHARGE for those who plan to work at Goldfish.

Course Payment: This is a 22 hour training course will be paid at $12 per hour or $264 upon successful completion of the course.

Pre-requisites:

Distance Swim: Swim 50 yards continuously using the front crawl (freestyle), breaststroke, or a combination of both.
Brick Test: In water 5 feet or less in depth, swim underwater for 10 feet, retrieve a 10-pound brick from the bottom, bring it to the surface, and exit the pool unassisted.
Depth Limit: This specific shallow water credential restricts the lifeguard to working in water depths of 5 feet or less

Maintain Safety: Provide active lifeguard supervision to keep all swimmers safe.
Emergency Response: Provide first aid and CPR as necessary (training provided).

Facility Standards: Ensure the pool area remains clean and organized during shifts.

Job Qualifications and Skills
