Cosmetologist (Part-Time)

Position is primarily responsible for providing cosmetology services, using chemical supplies, such as permanent waves, hair coloring, rinses, and special treatments. Services will also include haircuts.

This position pays $22/hr-$24.50/hr

The position will work 3 days a week. We are flexible with which days.

Core hours of the job are 10am-4pm

• Prepares the equipment and supplies necessary for the task to be performed.
• Provides shampoo and sets, haircuts, hair coloring, rinses, and special treatments.
• Assists residents to and from the Beauty Salon when necessary.
• Assists with keeping all salons clean, including roller carts, styling and shampoo stations, supply room; keep floors swept, and assists with general cleanliness of the Salon.
• Makes appointments for residents, answers telephone, and post charges in the POS system.
• Ensures the safety of the residents while in the Beauty Salon.

• Must be a licensed Cosmetologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Must be able to relate to and work with residents within the facility.
• Must possess ability to deal tactfully and effectively with residents and staff, and communicate clearly.
