The Role

As a Local Relevance Manager, you will oversee the management and optimization of content across various local markets. This role involves leading a team of (remote) community managers, leveraging AI tools to enhance content effectiveness, and collaborating with creatives and content strategists to ensure that all content resonates with local audiences.

This is a part-time role. We are looking for someone who can work 28 - 32 hours per week.

What you’ll do

• Recruit, lead and mentor community managers across different local markets. The team of community managers currently consists of 10 people across 8 different markets
• Optimize processes and way of working for periodic community (manager) insights for content creation
• Facilitate the exchange of insights and best practices between different local market teams between community managers
• Utilize AI tools to optimize video, text, audio, and other content formats for local markets
• Ensure content aligns with local cultural nuances, preferences, and trends
• Work closely with creatives and content strategists to develop content that aligns with overall brand strategy while being tailored to local markets
• Oversee the execution of localized content campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in community/creator marketing within an agency environment
• Experience in community management and/or AI optimization for local markets
• Understanding of AI tools and their application in content optimization.
• Knowledge of developing content for all relevant social platforms like TikTok, Roblox, Instagram, and YouTube
• Industry Knowledge: Affinity with gaming, immersive technology, and/or creators is a plus
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to own high-stakes trajectories and complex initiatives
• Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior leadership and clients
• Ability to report on community management insights in MBR's and QBR's
• Experience in a global or multi-market role is a plus
• Fluent in English and Dutch, and any other language is a plus
