About the Role

As a Compliance Intern at GoTo Financial, you’ll play an important role in supporting the compliance function behind Indonesia’s leading digital financial services ecosystem. You will work closely with the Compliance team to help ensure that our products and operations meet regulatory requirements, including preparing regulatory submissions to Bank Indonesia, supporting regulatory reporting, maintaining compliance documentation, and assisting with regulatory audits.

Product Regulatory Submissions: Assist in preparing regulatory submissions, conduct regulatory research, monitor regulatory developments, and maintain submission trackers.

Regulatory Audits & Examinations: Maintain compliance documentation, prepare audit evidence, and track audit requests, findings, and remediation actions.

Compliance Operations & Tracking: Support regulatory implementation, prepare meeting materials and action logs, and provide administrative and operational support for compliance initiatives.

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, Accounting, Public Policy, or a related field.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize and manage documents accurately.

Good analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret and summarize regulatory or legal information.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, particularly Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, and PowerPoint/Slides.

Able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrates integrity, a willingness to learn, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Payment Compliance team plays a critical role in enabling GoTo Financial to launch and operate innovative financial products in a safe, compliant, and sustainable manner. We work closely with Product, Legal, Risk, Operations, and Business teams to navigate Indonesia's evolving regulatory landscape, manage regulatory engagements with Bank Indonesia, support regulatory audits, and ensure our products continue to meet applicable compliance requirements.
