This is a part-time role. The role does require you to work on holidays if they fall on your normal schedule and weekend availability is a must.

Responsibilities

  • →Give every pet lots of love, patience, and compassionate care.
  • →Stay calm, confident, and professional—even when things get busy.
  • →Check pets in, make sure they're properly identified, and keep track of where they're staying.
  • →Send pets home looking and feeling their best by making sure they're clean before pickup.
  • →Help pet parents feel comfortable and confident while their furry family members are in our care.
  • →Clean and sanitize kennels, runs, cages, and hospital areas to keep everything fresh and safe.
  • →Feed pets according to doctor or owner instructions and keep track of how they're eating.
  • →Stay on top of daily tasks and help wherever needed during your shift.
  • →Keep laundry caught up for the kennel, grooming, and hospital.
  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or currently working toward one.
  • Animal care experience is awesome, but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
  • Love animals (even when they're nervous, sick, messy, or having a rough day).
  • Don't mind working around barking dogs—it's part of the job!
  • Can work weekends and holidays.
  • Are comfortable being active throughout your shift, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting. (Team members help with animals over 40 lbs.)
  • Understand that this is a hands-on job where you'll sometimes deal with odors, pet messes, scratches, bites, and exposure to animal illnesses.
