Multi-Skilled Technician, Emergency Department, 7a-7p (PCT EXP Required)

Part time, 24 hours, 7:00am-7:00pm

Griffin Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Multi-Skilled Technician to join our patient care team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Multi-Skilled Technician performs and assists with routine and STAT blood draws, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and provides direct patient care support to ensure high-quality, patient-centered service.

• →Perform routine and STAT phlebotomy procedures accurately and efficiently.
• →Obtain and document EKGs as ordered.
• →Assist nursing staff with patient care activities and clinical procedures.
• →Monitor and report patient conditions or concerns to the supervising RN.
• →Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
• →Ensure proper specimen collection, labeling, handling, and transportation.
• →Maintain equipment and supplies required for patient care, phlebotomy, and EKG procedures.
• →Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection prevention standards
• →Support a collaborative, patient-focused healthcare environment.
  

• Experience in patient care, phlebotomy, and EKG performance required.
• Prior hospital experience preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• Patient Care Technician certification required

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
