Laborer

Groome Industrial Service Group is seeking a General Laborer who will perform various general manual labor tasks.  

• →This is a 100% travel job; travel is provided in company vehicles. 
• →Assists in maintaining an organized set of supplies and equipment.
• →Ensures equipment is placed and returned to its proper storage location.
• →Consistently keeps a clean, well-maintained, and organized work area.
• →Always complies with all safety requirements.
• →Complies with all company policies, and safety practices.
• →Work productively as a member of the team.
• →Perform other related duties as assigned. 

• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, night shifts, and overtime if required.
• Must have acceptable ID, pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Possession of a TWIC card is a plus but not a requirement.
• Must understand verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must have basic math skills. 

• Ability to lift, push or pull objects up to 50 lbs. on occasion. 
• Able to withstand 70 psi of back pressure.
• May reach above shoulder height and below the waist frequently. 
• May stoop, kneel, or bend, on occasion.  
• Move in and around confined, cluttered, and uneven areas. 
• Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects frequently.
• Work up to a 12-hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.
