We are looking for a Senior Kafka Engineer with experience in Apache Kafka and Confluent Platform to design and implement event-driven integration solutions, ensuring scalable, reliable, and high-performance messaging platforms.

  Design and implement solutions using Apache Kafka and Confluent Platform. 

• →

  Develop Kafka producers and consumers using Java and Spring Kafka. 

• →

  Define topics, partitions, keys, retention policies, and consumer strategies. 

• →

  Implement Schema Registry and event serialization using Avro, Protobuf, or JSON Schema. 

• →

  Design solutions using messaging patterns such as At-Least-Once, Exactly-Once, Idempotency, Retries, and Dead Letter Queues (DLQ). 

• →

  Implement Kafka Connect integrations. 

• →

  Monitor and optimize consumer lag, throughput, and event traceability. 

• →

  Collaborate with Architecture, Development, and Data teams to establish Kafka best practices. 

• 3+ years of experience working with Apache Kafka. 

• Hands-on experience with Confluent Platform. 

• Strong Java and Spring Kafka experience. 

• Experience with Schema Registry. 

• Experience with Avro, Protobuf, or JSON Schema. 

• Experience with Kafka Connect. 

• Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture and Microservices. 

• Understanding of Kafka concepts including topics, partitions, offsets, consumer groups, and delivery semantics. 

• Experience with Git/Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.

Salary: $78,000 gross
