We are looking for talented people to help us design, optimize and maintain our state-of-the-art AI poker engine. As a Machine Learning Scientist in the engine team, you’ll have a key role in building and optimizing the training and inference performance of our deep learning models served in production to our users. You will also be implementing state-of-the-art algorithms and actively collaborating with other team members to find novel approaches to optimize our machine learning pipeline. A strong theoretical background in machine learning and algorithms is essential, and a passion for poker is a big plus. • Improve the performance of our machine learning models

• Continuously oversee the performance of models in production and develop monitoring tools to gain deeper insights into areas for model performance enhancement

• Collaborate with a team of researchers and engineers to design, implement and maintain innovative solutions to complex problems.

• Reduce the training and inference time of our ML pipeline

• Drive projects and lead new initiatives in MLOps

• Communicates effectively with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Has sharp analytical skills to approach complex problems methodically, think creatively, and develop innovative solutions in an evolving field of research

• Is enthusiast about mentoring and collaborating with colleagues, providing constructive feedback, and overseeing the theoretical rigor of projects to ensure high-quality, impactful research outcomes

• Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• Applied research experience with a successful track record of delivering quality results

• Extensive expertise in machine learning, with in-depth, hands-on experience in reinforcement learning or game theory

• Exceptional communication, cross discipline collaboration and leadership skills
