Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) is responsible for developing and implementing the Company’s financial strategy. The CFO oversees all aspects of financial management and reporting, including the development of robust financial processes and controls, and the effective operation of internal control and risk management systems.

The CFO is a Director of the Company and a key member of the Executive Team, providing strategic leadership and supporting the effective operational management of the business. This includes contributing to the development and delivery of the corporate business strategy. The CFO works closely with external financial institutions and government to secure a finance strategy that supports ongoing business activities and enables delivery of the capital investment plan, particularly that associated with the Electricity Strategy for Guernsey.

The CFO has a specific remit as part of the Audit & Risk Committee to engage with the external and internal auditors to ensure adequacy of controls, processes and reporting.
