Who we are

Gym+Coffee is an Irish athleisure brand built on a simple refusal: you shouldn't have to choose between the life you live and the clothes you wear. We're for the people who do both - Those who train hard, show up fully, and move through the world with a bit of intention. Our community wears us to the gym, to brunch, to the airport, and everywhere the day takes them. The clothes have to work. And they have to look good doing it.

What this role is

Graphics are how our garments speak. We need someone who understands that — who thinks about how artwork sits on a chest, wraps a sleeve, or anchors a back panel. T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies: how a design scales, how it prints, how it earns its place on the garment rather than just filling space. And how it reads as part of a collection, not just a standalone piece.

This is a focused role. Not a broad "do everything creative" position specifically apparel graphics and print placement, done with care and a strong point of view.

What you'll work on

  • Graphic concepts and artwork for seasonal apparel drops
  • Print placement and sizing across different garment styles and fits
  • Artwork preparation for production (print-ready files, colourways, design work as / where needed)
  • Occasional repeat or surface pattern work
  • Keeping a consistent visual thread and design language across a collection

What we're looking for

  • A portfolio that demonstrates an ability to design for apparel, including an understanding of placement, scale, composition and how graphics translate onto product. Professional, academic or personal work is all relevant.
  • Comfortable creating production-ready artwork and working across the tools and technologies required to bring concepts through to execution.
  • A strong eye for product and range building, with an understanding of how individual pieces fit together into a cohesive collection.
  • Able to take a creative direction or brief and develop it independently, bringing ideas, options and solutions rather than requiring detailed guidance throughout the process.

Structure

Flexible — part-time, freelance, or a monthly retainer based on output. We're open to shaping this around the right person.
