We're hiring California-licensed mental health therapists at Handspring.
Join our fully remote team, earning a $80-85k base salary while conducting an expected average of 22-24 weekly sessions (with a caseload of 28 clients), plus sign-on bonus, potential to earn up to $10k more annually. Responsibilities

Work 40 hours a week, including:

28 hours dedicated to therapy sessions. Typically, we expect therapists to conduct an average of 22-24 sessions per week. You will be assigned a caseload of up to 28 clients

12 hours dedicated to administrative tasks

Provide weekly psychotherapy using CBT and other evidence-based practices to children ages 8-17 and young adults over age 18 years

Participate in weekly 1-on-1 case consultations, weekly team consultations, peer-only huddles, and ongoing professional development programming. These programs offer opportunities for you to engage and collaborate with other therapists

Complete clinical notes and documentations in a timely manner
- →
Communicate with your client’s pediatricians, school counselors, and other members of their family, as needed
Total Hours: 40 hours per week
Clinical Care Hours: 28 hours per week
Any 18 hours during the following times:
Monday–Thursday: 4:00pm–8:00pm PST
Friday: 4:00pm–6:00pm PST
Saturday: 11:00am-1:00pm PST
10 hours can be scheduled at your discretion any time between 12:00pm–4:00pm PST, Monday through Friday
Administrative Hours: 12 hours per week. Dedicated to administrative tasks: individual and group consultations, trainings, clinical notes & documentation, and other administrative tasks
Over time, we offer opportunities for clinical and administrative growth within Handspring. These opportunities include:
Continue practicing as a senior therapist on the team
Assume clinical leadership roles such as supervisor, head of a clinical specialization
We also provide support for therapists who’re looking to launch their own practices through flexible employment structures to aid with the transition
What We Offer
~1 min readLicensed mental health professionals with at least 3 years post-graduate experience providing psychotherapy
Required license types: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
Ability to work independently with a strong interest in collaboration and learning
Clinical experience working with young people and their families
Knowledge of and/or some training in evidence based mental health treatments
Comfort with using and learning new technologies, including Zoom, Office, electronic health record systems, and other team collaboration tools
Must not have opted out of Medicare
