About the Role:

ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Bilingual Mandarin Caregiver / Mandarin speaking Home Care Aide to join our growing team in El Cerrito, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized, culturally sensitive in-home care. Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients and their families to ensure comfort and understanding
Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding in accordance with dietary needs
Support clients with mobility, transfers, and light exercise or physical activity
Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, tidying, and errands
Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
Assist with medication reminders and scheduling of appointments
Experience in using Hoyer Lift and transfers
12 hour shifts

Requirements:

Fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken) is required
Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or a related healthcare setting preferred
Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Compassionate, patient, and culturally sensitive demeanor
Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
