Companion Care in Gaithersburg

We're looking for a part-time Caregiver to provide companion care every Tuesday, Thursday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Responsibilities include companionship, meal preparation, monitoring blood pressure, and providing transportation, including driving the client to and from church every Sunday (service is from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM). Applicants must have a reliable car. Immediate start available.

Qualifications:
- Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current CNA license
- Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
- Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication reminders
- Assist with ambulation
- Monitor BP and glucose levels
