Speech Therapist - PRN

Right at Home is a growing, locally owned home health company in Cedar Falls. We currently provide skilled nursing, Occupational and Physical therapies, companionship and personal cares for a wide variety of clients in Eastern Iowa. We proudly provide these services to veterans, and we are in need of a PRN Speech Therapist to expand the level of skilled care available to them.  

Responsibilities of a home-based Speech Therapist include:
·         Provide high quality evaluation and treatment of disorders related to speech and swallowing

·         Develop personalized care plans to improve one's ability to vocalize, communicate, eat, and overall function of patients in the home                  setting, involving them in setting goals

·         Communicate and collaborate with associated medical professionals to achieve patient goals

·         Clear, concise, timely documentation in our software system

·         Regular communication with physicians, nurses, case managers within Veterans Affairs as needed

·         Ability to work independently and autonomously, managing one’s own schedule

·         Supervise home health aides involved in patient care
