BEMT or AEMT PRN

As a PRN BEMT or AEMT, you support timely pre-hospital care by providing field-based emergency medical services for patients in Corydon and surrounding areas. This role exists to help ensure safe response, stabilization, and transport while maintaining clear records and communication.

Key responsibilities include patient assessment and treatment per emergency medical protocols, safe operation and readiness of response equipment, accurate medical documentation, and effective coordination with partners and receiving facilities.

Required qualifications/skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current Indiana EMT or Indiana AEMT certification
- Current American Heart or Red Cross CPR certification
- Hazmat Awareness (Hazmat Operations Level within one year)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills

Pay: $18.50–$22.91/hour; schedule includes rotating shifts (nights, weekends, holidays). Apply to provide dependable emergency medical services when the community needs it most.

You begin by reviewing unit status, checking supplies, and confirming readiness for a rotating PRN shift. Calls may vary from routine transports to higher-acuity events, so you stay organized, calm, and attentive to detail. Between runs, you complete charts, update handoffs, and keep lines of communication clear with dispatch and clinical teams. Nights, weekends, and holidays can be unpredictable, and you adapt quickly while maintaining a steady, patient-centered approach to emergency medical services.
