Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Serves as a representative of the University displaying courtesy, tact consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the HCU community and with the public.
- →Coordinate with office of financial aid to award and monitor all athletic scholarships, including the awarding of books and fees within NCAA guidelines.
- →Assist in monitoring athletic department activities to ensure compliance with NCAA rules.
- →Assist in educating various constituencies on NCAA rules.
- →Assist in providing rules interpretations.
- →Assist in monitoring recruitment activities
- →Verifying athletic schedules with regard to practice and playing seasons.
- →Assist the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance with class drop/adds
- →Participate in monthly conference calls with Ohio Valley Conference, compliance staff, and required NCAA meetings and seminars
- →Other duties as assigned by the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance and the Director of Athletics.
- →Must follow all NCAA and conference rules
